Hi – My name is Steve, and I am Tech Ease.

I’ve always had an interest in electronics and technology. Growing up I took apart my share of radios, speakers, turntables and more to see what was inside and more importantly, if they would still work after I put them back together. After graduating from OSU I had the opportunity to work at one of the premier high-end stereo stores in the country, Progressive Audio. Not long after I started, home theater and surround sound came into play. Then people had too many remotes so home automation was born. Once everything needed to be connected to the internet, networking became important. Finally, for those who wanted to get really fancy, you could control your lights, motorized shades, temperature, cameras and music with one remote or touchpad.

After working at Progressive Audio for over 11 years and , I decided to take a break from technology. After a year or two, though, I kept getting requests and realized that there were a lot of people out there that just wanted HELP with their technology. They didn’t have the time, patience or know-how to manage their components on their own. I started helping people again, and it felt good. Tech Ease was born.
